Cocohari chocolate gems are vegan, gluten-free and nut-free handcrafted traditional Belgian-style filled chocolates made with responsibly sourced 70% dark chocolate. All ingredients are as local, fresh and sustainably-grown as possible. Shells are coloured with edible cocoa butter-based paints.

Who makes these gems?

Aaron BihariOur gems are made in small batches by chocolatier Aaron Bihari, who trained as a professional chocolatier with Ecole Chocolat, earning his professional certificate with honours.


Aaron is an artist and craftsman, working with chocolate after careers in theatre, dance, illustration and design. An inveterate foodie, he discovered the power of chocolate in Belgium while on a theatre tour in the early 90s, and began to appreciate its subtlety through tasting the creations of a chocolatier he befriended in Montréal.
